Before joining Rational 360, Megan was the Director of Marketing for NLX, a Conversational AI SaaS startup that launched in 2018. She joined in December 2021 as one of the first 20 people in the company to effectively lead the marketing and communications disciplines as it sought to scale and grow. Swiatkowski was known at NLX for her hard-charging work ethic, infectious optimism, and results-driven approach. In her first six months at NLX, she captured growing investor and customer attention with her sharpened content and clear-eyed messaging. NLX experienced increases across the board - 950% earned media and 35% LinkedIn following. Her strength as a results-driven Marketing leader stems from her diverse experience in Operations, Business, Communications, and Broadcast Journalism, which have molded her into a sharp woman of action.
At Amazon, she managed the maintenance and repairs of over 85,000 delivery vehicles for over 3,000 delivery service partners. She was responsible for end-to-end launches at mobile maintenance repairs at over 30 stations and collaborated with Amazon’s last-mile delivery team to ensure every vehicle was operational for Peak 2022.
At Axios, the startup media company that recently sold to Cox Enterprises for over half a billion dollars, Megan was a staunch defender, protector, and promoter of the brand, responsible for the promotion of the Emmy-award-winning docu-news series “Axios on HBO”, earning 600+ individual earned media pieces and several rave reviews from critics. She also led a Comms team that drove a 30% increase in TV/radio bookings year-over-year. She earned respect for her relentless defense of the media company following the leak of an internal meeting published by The Huffington Post.
At POLITICO, her efforts resulted in a 400% increase in reporter turnout at events, a 100% increase in subscriptions to POLITICO’s “Women Rule” newsletter, and every Congressional office reading the company’s flagship product, POLITICO Playbook. She spearheaded promotional aspects of the rebrand of POLITICO Playbook, which was shortlisted alongside Fortune 100 companies for the PRWeek Global Awards and PR News Digital Awards.
As a producer for WGAL News 8, she led a team of reporters, anchors, videographers, editors, and breaking news personnel to air a live half-hour broadcast.
She graduated with honors in three years from The Pennsylvania State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Broadcast Journalism. She achieved an M.B.A. with a focus on Leadership Management and Marketing at George Washington University. Megan Swiatkowski holds a Mid-Atlantic Collegiate Emmy for Best Newscast, a Collegiate second-place Emmy for Best News Magazine, and was recognized by The Broadcast Education Association Festival of Media Arts for her work on a Television News Magazine. She is a Half Ironman finisher that’s completed three Marathon Majors – Boston, New York, Chicago, and Berlin – with London scheduled for 2023.
